Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of educators as agents of religious socialization at Al-Hidayah Menjangan TPQ. It focuses on how teachers can implement religious values to students through learning using the Qiro'ati method, the application of discipline, and exemplary behavior. This study applies a qualitative approach using data collection techniques through in-depth interviews with the head of the TPQ. The results of the study show that educators have a dual role, not only as teachers of the Al-Qur'an, but also as moral role models who play an important role in shaping children's religious character. Educators at TPQ Al-Hidayah carry out the function of religious socialization by instilling the values of worship, discipline, responsibility, and manners. From an educational sociology perspective, this process reflects how non-formal educational institutions function as secondary socialization agents that strengthen the formation of children's religious identity.
